We were walking around at SM North checking out the food places there, (and by "checking out the food places" I mean stuffing our faces with delicious dimsum at Dimsum Break!) when we saw this hair cut place called Cute Barber for Kids & Up for kids. And so we decided to have Rain's hair cut for the first time! How exciting!
The place was really colorful making it really attractive to kids. And the chairs were toy cars for toddlers to distract them. Each chair had a cute kiddie TV set up in front to amuse the little kiddos. I just wish I had brought one of Rain's Sesame Street DVDs because I don't really like that purple dinosaur hehehe. Nevertheless, it did the trick of distracting Rain somehow.

A hug from Ninang before the cutting starts! |
And then the cutting began...
There were moments when she would get irritated when the hairstylist would work on her hair. But she didn't throw a fit or cried. I'm so proud of my baby!

Blow-drying time! |
When it was blow-drying time, Rain got scared at first and tried her best to get away from the blow drier. I was there to hold her the whole time and made sure she didn't jump off the car. But that only lasted a few seconds. She calmed down eventually.
After a few minutes, it was done! I'm so happy she was well-behaved the whole time! Thank you Miss Hair-Stylist-Who's-Name-I-Forgot-I'm-So-Sorry! (Please don't take it personal I really have a suck-y memory!)
Tadaaaa! New and bouncy shiny hair!
The haircut costs P300. But if you want to get a certificate with your child's name, picture, and hair, you can avail of the second package which costs P500. They even frame it for you.

And just like that, it was time to go!

Richie, I said it's time to go! Tsk tsk... Didn't think he would take the "& Up" part in the name of the store seriously...
