If you follow my blog, you most likely have seen my post when I first heard of Omron CompAir Nebulizer here. And now I finally have my own! Yay! I've had it for a while but then, fortunately, no one really got sick that had the need to nebulize, until now. I'm down with a bad cold. I guess it's cough-and-cold season again here in the Philippines.
Mixed emotion as I was unboxing my Omron CompAir. Excited to use it, but at the same time, I felt nervous because I've never ever used one before. It looked easy to set up during the demo... I wonder if I can set it up by myself this time?
Here it goes!
All the parts are perfectly snug inside the bag like this!
Omron CompAir comes with everything you see here (to be read in a toy commercial voice-over)
- unit
- nebulizer kit
- mouthpiece
- air tube
- ac adapter
- 4 air filters
- storage bag
- instruction manual
Okay, so it wasn't nearly as hard as I thought! As a first time user, I was able to put the parts together myself. The manual is fairly easy to follow!
It was not that hard to figure out which part goes where.
I love that it has 2 sizes of mask. For kids and for adults.
Rain posing for our Omron to show how easily we can put in on kids.
Now it's my turn but I'm not just posing. I'm using it for real. Because I don't have asthma (thankfully!), I only bought a simple saline solution to nebulize my cough and colds away. It was very easy to breathe with the Omron CompAir. I thought it would feel a bit suffocating but of course, I was wrong. It helped relieve my breathing.
For such a small nebulizer, look at the amount of aerosol it makes! And the sound! Not even half as noisy as the other big nebulizers. Not bad!
Looks like I'm vaping haha!
What makes Omron extra special is this Virtual Valve Technology (VVT). As the compressor forces air into the nebulizer kit, it converts the medicine into an aerosol that's easy to inhale for the user. So with this VVT technology, the patient can exhale through the mouthpiece comfortably without silicon valves unlike in conventional nebulizers. This wat the VVT gives a highly effective and efficient nebulization experience, plus also helps reduce medication wastage.
At P3,280, the Omron CompAir Nebulizer System NE-C801 is definitely one of the best purchases a family can make, most especially if any of your members have asthma. Let your family #BreatheEasywithOmron!
