Aside from the fact that I wanted to buy this set because of the Lee Sung Kyung Fan Girl in me (She's the endorser for this line), I was particularly interested to try this because this line was made for oily to combination skin. Which is exactly my skin type. I've always thought I had oily skin until I realized that only my T-zone was oily. My cheeks are always dry. Forget the fact that the original market for this line is for 20-year-olds. Feeling bata ako bakit ba? And hell, it works perfectly for me! Seriously! 찐자!!!

The LANEIGE Fresh Calming Set is for "oily skin that lacks moisture". Oily that lacks moisture? I've always thought I had excessive moisture because my skin was oily. Apparently, as you may have already heard from skin experts, even oily skin needs the right moisture for a balanced, well-hydrated and supple skin.
How can I really tell it works for me? Well, before, I couldn't go out without my stash of oil control film. And within a few hours of going out, I can already feel the heaviness of the oil building up on my nose. And when I would use an oil control film, the entire sheet would normally look like it's been dipped in oil. Okay, I'm exaggerating a bit. But only the corners of the film will stay dry. That's how awful it is.
But on my first day of using the Fresh Calming line, look!
And take note this was almost noon time when I took this. It super duper worked wonders for me! I love it because it really balanced my skin's moisture because although the sebum lessened, I also didn't feel like my skin was dry at all. Swearing by this product line!

The Fresh Calming Morning Mask is an air mousse type texture that absorbs into the skin well.
Apply the leave-on mask in fine particle air mousse type at the last step of morning skincare. At first it might feel sticky but I only use a pea sized amount and spread it evenly on my skin. As soon as it dries, it's no longer sticky!
The special technology used in the Fresh Calming line is the Laneige Skin Equalizing ™. It's the combined effect of rich plant-derived extract plus pure deep seawater that helps keep skin stable and balanced by soothing and strengthening the skin.
